Man Utd signed the midfielder on loan from Fiorentina last summer and have the option to make the move permanent.

Manchester United are still yet to make a decision on the future of Sofyan Amrabat following their end-of-season review.

United signed the Fiorentina midfielder on a season-long loan last summer after paying a €10 million loan fee, with the option to make the transfer permanent for €20 million with a further €5 million in add-ons.

The 27-year-old endured a tough start to life at Old Trafford but proved his worth by the end of the campaign with a string of fine performances, including a masterclass in the FA Cup final victory over Man City.

ManchesterWorld have been told United are yet to make a final decision on the future of the midfielder and are not expecting an imminent one ahead of his loan deal formally coming to an end.

A permanent move for Amrabat has not been ruled out, but United will likely consider a range of midfield alternatives before they make a final decision, in a similar process to how they decided to keep Ten Hag as manager.

Amid the expectation Casemiro will be sold this summer, United will look to sign at least one midfielder, with Amrabat a rather straightforward and cost effective option should they wish to do so.

The Moroccan has already made it clear he would love to extend his stay at Old Trafford and the dilemma for United chiefs is to gauge whether his true level of performance is that of his turbulent early season form, or at the higher levels with which he ended the campaign.

Fulham are one of the sides being linked with a move with Amrabat should United opt against making the deal permanent, with the London club likely to lose star man Joao Palhinha this summer.
