Manchester United are looking to push ahead with their summer transfer plans after they opted to keep Erik ten Hag as their manager heading into the new season.
United are in talks with the Dutchman over a new contract at the club, which could even see his role change from that of a 'manager' to a 'first-team coach', with less focus on recruitment and more on getting the best from his players.
Ten Hag’s involvement in the transfer strategy will be a key point of discussion when both parties sit down to negotiate a new contract, with the expectation the Dutchman will have some input into which areas of the team need to be strengthened and a list of potential signings subsequently being produced.
With that in mind, here is what it could mean for United's attacking options as they club look to sign at least one, and preferably two forwards this summer.
