It is set to be a week of goodbyes at Manchester United with a number of players set to leave the club once their contract expires on 30 June.

United have already confirmed seven players will definitely be leaving the club once their respective deals come to an end at the end of the month, while there are another five who are yet to communicate their plans.

Anthony Martial and Raphael Varane will officially leave at the end of the week, while Brandon Williams is also departing after United opted against triggering the optional one-year contract extension in his deal.

Charlie McNeill will also leave the club once his contract expires, while academy duo Marcus Lawrence and Kie Plumley will also exit. Under-21s player-coach Tom Huddlestone will depart after two seasons in the role.

As part of their retained list, United confirmed they remain in discussions with both Tom Heaton and Jonny Evans over potential new contracts but there has been no further communication on their respective situations.

A decision is also yet to be made on the long-term future of Sofyan Amrabat, with his loan move from Fiorentina set to come to an end. United signed the Fiorentina midfielder on a season-long loan last summer after paying a €10 million loan fee, with the option to make the transfer permanent for €20 million with a further €5 million in add-ons.
