Man Utd are exploring a move to sign Joshua Zirkzee in the summer transfer window.

Manchester United are exploring a move to sign Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee as they look to strengthen their attack this summer.

The Dutch forward is one of a number of players of interest to the club, with a move made more appealing due to the fact he has a £34 million release clause in his current deal.

Zirkzee is understood to want assurances over his future role should he leave Bologna this year, with one possible issue at United that he would have to share the attacking duties with fellow youngster Rasmus Hojlund.

If he were to sign, Zirkzee would be viewed as direct competitor for Hojlund, though he would most likely be the back-up option initially, which might not appeal to him after an impressive season for Bologna.

A solution could be to play the pair upfront together next season in certain situations when goals are desperately required and here is how Erik ten Hag could line up with both of them in the same line up.
