The scramble for tickets was always set to be fierce but some fight fans were dismayed when they logged on to see the prices. When ManchesterWorld went to look at tickets on Wednesday afternoon the cheapest available on Ticketmaster was £320 while a seat Octagon-side would set you back £1,600. Tickets had started at £170 with £215, £244 and £277 price brackets before the £321 ticket we found. The top priced-ticket was shown as £2,182.

Posting on social media, some fight fans were less than impressed, while others were ready to take the hit.

Dobson (@ByDobson) said: “Finally ticking off a bucket list thing and going to UFC 304!!! £755 for 2 tickets is crazy but mannnn I’m so excited I’ve been watching for 10 years and never been able to go before!”
