Foo Fighters Manchester setlist in full and stage times from first night of UK tour at Emirates Old Trafford

Foo Fighters delighted the Manchester crowd on the first night of the UK leg of their Everything or Nothing at All tour at Emirates Old Trafford.

Having established a setlist earlier in the tour, Dave Grohl and co mixed things up on the first of two nights in Manchester - playing 23 songs across a near three-hour epic.

All the classics came out but there was world first playing of a new Foos song ‘Unconditional’ and acoustic performances of the rarely-heard ‘Statues’ and ‘Under You’ from their latest album ‘But Here We Are’ with Grohl visibly moved in what was a stripped back solo effort.

Long-time fans delighted as songs such ‘Generator’ and ‘Stacked Actors’ got an airing with the set including at least one song from all 11 Foo Fighters albums. ‘Aurora’ was played in tribute to late drummer Taylor Hawkins as it was “his favourite Foo Fighters” song.

Foos came on stage just after 7.30pm and including a two-song encore, didn’t bid the crowd a final farewell until ‘Everlong’ closed things out at around 10.15pm. First support act Loose Articles kicked things off at 5.25pm with Wet Leg taking to the cricket ground stage at 6.15pm.

They return for a second night in Manchester on Saturday before heading to Hampden Park, Glasgow, the London Stadium, Principality Stadium in Cardiff and Villa Park, Birmingham. Here’s what was played on night one in full.
