England have been handed a huge injury boost for their Euro 2024 campaign in Germany.

England have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of their final Euro 2024 group stage match against Slovenia.

Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw will train with the rest of the squad on Monday, with Gareth Southgate set to have a fully fit team to choose from for the match.

Shaw has not played since February after he went off at half-time of United's 2-1 win at Luton Town, but was the only left-back named in the England squad for the European Championship. Newcastle defender Kieran Trippier started for England in their first two matches of the tournament.

Southgate is expected to issue a further update on Shaw’s fitness situation when he speaks to the press later on Monday, but his return to training is certainly a boost to England ahead of a pivotal match.

The Three Lions are not currently guaranteed a place in the knockout stages of the tournament and will be looking to win to ensure they finish top in Group C. If England do win the group, they will play third place from either Group D, E or F in the Round of Last 16.

The match against Slovenia will be played at the RheinEnergieStadion Stadium in Cologne and is scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. BST.
