New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Battered Cod, at 4 Church Road, Gatley, Cheadle, Stockport was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 21.

And Burger Stop Reddish Ltd, at 444 Gorton Road, North Reddish, Stockport was given a score of three on October 21.

It means that of Stockport's 325 takeaways with ratings, 153 (47%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
