New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New Lee Garden, at 11 School Lane, Heaton Chapel, Stockport was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 8.

And Heaton Balti, at 31 School Lane, Heaton Chapel, Stockport was given a score of three on June 8.

It means that of Stockport's 312 takeaways with ratings, 162 (52%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
