New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Salford’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Salford’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Royal Grill and Shakes, at 239 Eccles New Road, Salford was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 29.

And The Meat House, at 47-48 Market Way, Salford was given a score of one on March 29.

It means that of Salford's 317 takeaways with ratings, 103 (32%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
