New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Salford’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Firefly Manchester, at Unit 2 One New Bailey, Stanley Street, Salford was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 15.

And Yum Yum's Diner, at 298 Littleton Road, Salford was also given a score of four on March 10.

It means that of Salford's 362 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 229 (63%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
