New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Rochdale’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Khans, at 143 Milnrow Road, Rochdale, Lancashire was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 12.

And Summers Sandwich Bar, at 437 Oldham Road, Middleton, Manchester was given a score of one on February 10.

It means that of Rochdale's 287 takeaways with ratings, 157 (55%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
