New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Manchester’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Manchester’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Super Sandwich, at 11 Newton Street, Manchester was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 24.

And Mazaa Kebab and Curry House, at 604 Stockport Road, Manchester was given a score of four on November 23.

It means that of Manchester's 615 takeaways with ratings, 212 (34%) have ratings of five and just five have zero ratings.
