New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bolton’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Mash's Peri-Peri Chicken, at 204 Deane Road, Bolton was handed a one-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 30.

And Spice India, at 138 St Helens Road, Bolton was also given a score of one on March 30.

It means that of Bolton's 376 takeaways with ratings, 114 (30%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
