The event is the latest in a series created by the top music publication.

Stockport favourites Blossoms are set to play a local show next month as part of the NME Club night series. The gig will be at Manchester Academy, and there’s a pleasant bonus.

Tickets to the gig on Saturday February 10 will be absolutely free - giving even more incentive to get in line for them. The gig will see Blossoms joined by several other acts, including Sunta Templeton and another DJ who is a ‘special guest’ yet to be announced.

Club NME returned in 2023 with a show in London. Manchester band Courtneers took centre stage on that occasion, and the next instalment will be all about Stockport’s finest. The gig will run late into the night and early morning, with doors opening at 8pm. The DJ sets will keep the party going until around 1am, meaning you’ll get plenty of value for your free entry.

Tickets are being kept free through NME’s partnership with Ladbrokes Live. The Club NME movement gives fans the unique opportunity to get close to their favourite bands in intimate venues across the country.

NME said: “Blossoms are one of the British indie scene’s most-beloved bands. With a string of number one albums under their belt, their set at Club NME is an opportunity to see them in intimate settings before a huge outdoor gig in Manchester later this summer.”
