Man Utd player ratings v Nottingham Forest: Four score 5/10 in dramatic late FA Cup win - gallery

Rating the players from Manchester United's FA Cup fifth round clash with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

Manchester United progressed to the FA Cup quarter-finals by the skin of their teeth, defeating Nottingham Forest away from home thanks to a late Casemiro winner.

Erik ten Hag's men came up against a hard-working Forest side who afforded their visitors few chances and created danger of their own on the break. Andre Onana had to produce two big saves just after half-time to keep his side on terms, with United coming close through Scott McTominay, in particular, in the first half, while Antony hit the crossbar with a fine effort.

Forest were better defensively in the second half and limited United to very few opportunities, but the Red Devils also kept their hosts shooting from distance for the most part, and penalties felt inevitable by the time the back-end of the second half set in. But a sweet delivery from Bruno Fernandes changed all that, with Casemiro heading in from close range in the 89th minute. United were a little lucky to avoid seeing the goal ruled out, with a similar offside block to the one Liverpool saw a goal disallowed for in the Carabao Cup final.

But after a lengthy review, the goal did indeed stand, and United progressed to the quarter-final, where they will face rivals Liverpool. Here we rate the players from the cup win at the City Ground.
