Manchester Queen’s Jubilee street party locations announced along with road closures

There are plenty of street parties and public events taking place across Manchester to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee at the start of next month.
The Platinum Jubilee celebrations, in honour of Queen Elizabeth II’s 70 years on the throne, will take place from Thursday, June 2 through to Sunday, June 5.

Hide AdCommunities across the United Kingdom are being encouraged to celebrate the historic milestone with four days of celebration, including an extended bank holiday, and public events and activities to mark her 70-year-reign.
Manchester city council and its partners will be hosting events across the city and you can check out our guide to that and other local Jubilee events here.
There also will be more than 70 road closures at various points over the bank holiday weekend across the city as communities host their own street parties to celebrate the Jubilee.
